16th Annual Cabin Fever Scholarship Dash

Shake off the winter blues and join us for the 16th Annual Cabin Fever Scholarship Dash!
Choose between a 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles) run/walk and help raise funds for the Vicki Decker Scholarship Program supporting students pursuing higher education.
Event Details
Date: Saturday, February 7, 2026
Location: Winona Family YMCA – Clara Barton Room
Course: Flat route along East Lake Winona bike path
Awards: Top two finishers in each age division and overall winners
Age Divisions: 19 & under • 20–29 • 30–39 • 40–49 • 50–59 • 60–69 • 70+
Registration:
- Register by January 18 to receive a long-sleeved race shirt (waiver only required for sauna or YMCA usage after the race; not required for general participation)
- Registration closes February 5 (shirts not guaranteed after January 11)

- 5K – 9:00 AM – $45
- 10K – 8:30 AM – $55

The 16th Annual Women In Business Cabin Fever Scholarship Dash featured both a 5K and a 10K walk/run. These events support the Vicki Decker Scholarship Program, which is awarded each June to help women in our community with financial assistance for continuing their education.

The 12th annual Women In Business Cabin Fever Scholarship Dash featured a 5k (timed 3.1 miles) and 10k (timed 6.2 miles) run. These events are held in support of the Vicki Decker Scholarship Program. The scholarship, awarded in June, helps traditional and non-traditional students, men or women, with their financial needs in pursuing further education.

The 2021 Cabin Fever Dash was held virtually throughout the entire month of February. Participants had the whole month to run either the 5k or the 10k event, submit their results, and enter to win prizes! All participants also received the beloved WIB Cabin Fever Dash long-sleeved technical shirt.
