Madison Murray
A finance and accounting student with bold aspirations to become a CPA or CFA, and one day lead her own financial advising firm, Madison Murray is driven and ambitious. Inspired by her grandfather yet blazing her own path, she is passionate about empowering others through financial literacy and responsible decision-making. With leadership roles in student organizations, academic honors placing her in the top 10% of her class, and work supporting neurodiverse children, Madison demonstrates that ambition and heart go hand-in-hand. This scholarship not only eases financial pressure but affirms her belief that women belong at the head of the business table. Madison looks forward to shaping financial strategy, leading with integrity, and uplifting others along the way.
Allison McEntaffer
From the moment she realized marketing could spark connection and tell powerful stories, Allison McEntaffer knew she’d found her calling. A marketing major and interdisciplinary design minor at the University of Minnesota, Allison dreams of creating brand strategies that evoke emotion, inspire action, and uplift businesses with purpose, not just profit. She’s already shown leadership at the Capitol as a Junior Page and gives back weekly to the local daycare she once attended as a child. Whether she’s volunteering, knitting with care, or designing with intention, Allison is fueled by compassion and creativity.
This scholarship is more than financial relief, it’s a meaningful reminder that her voice, vision, and values matter. Her goal? To return to Winona and help small businesses thrive through bold ideas and genuine connection.

Meet Susana Zuccarelli and her family
Susana a wife, mother of three, a current student at Saint Mary’s University, and a Vicki Decker Scholarship recipient!
Her mother inspired her to become a nurse after she worked as a nursing assistant in Mexico and didn’t have the financial opportunity to take the next step.
“My dream of becoming a nurse is not just mine but also my mother’s,” Susana said.
Currently working at Winona Health and Mayo Clinic, Susana will use her scholarship to pay for the equipment she needs for her education — including a stethoscope, other equipment, and gas to get to school.
Meet Courtney Rollinger and her family
Courtney is a current Minnesota State College Southeast student studying in the radiography program and a Vicki Decker Scholarship recipient.
In between being a student, Courtney works at Nate & Ally’s and at Gundersen Health Systems in Onalaska. She dreams of becoming a board-certified radiologic technologist.
Courtney plans to use her scholarship to pay for tuition and rent while she’s in Iowa for clinicals. “This is going to help take off the financial burden!” she said.
Meet Mollie Ping and her family!
Mollie is a soon-to-be student at the College of Saint Benedict where she plans to “double major in finance and accounting this fall, while being in the honors program and running track and cross country.”
Mollie’s dream is to become a CFO of a major company!
Mollie plans to use her scholarship to help her focus on settling in for the first semester without needing to find a job right away.

Each recipient was awarded a $1,500 scholarship, thanks to funds raised during our annual Cabin Fever Dash each February.
2023 Holiday Basket Auction
It’s that time of year again for the Women in Business Holiday Basket Auction! This auction is a fantastic opportunity for you to promote your business while also giving back to the community you live in. With this auction the Women in Business donate the money raised towards the Vicki Decker Scholarship, for local individuals pursuing their education in Business.
We are looking for donations of baskets from you, our members, and supporters. We would like to see the baskets retail value to be at $25 and we encourage you to insert a business card within the basket. So, why not spread some holiday cheer while supporting Women In Business?
